Modulaatio Games server is temporarily offline -- should be back online in a few days!

UPDATE February 15th 2012: the official RUNNING WITH RIFLES website is back online!

Hey!

The Modulaatio Games server will be offline a few days while we're moving into our new home, so the actual RUNNING WITH RIFLES website is inaccessible as is the RWR forum. Meanwhile, the traffic on the server has been redirected here to indiedb.com RWR-site.

On another note, beta 0.59 is progressing nicely! The weapon system has been revamped and a series of new weapons will start rolling in, starting with a shotgun vaguely based on Mossberg 500 in 0.59. The weapon modding is also going to be more open, with dynamic amount of weapon models, controls for weapon commonness and more.

Currently I'm working on client side prediction to hide the input lag in online game sessions, and I'm also setting up some stuff that will enable server list browsing.

I'm also finishing up the RWR voxel editor to be released, but until it's done I'm putting this little sproxel CSV -> RWR XML converter available for those of you who want to try modifying the voxel models already: sproxel2rwr.zip

Also, don't forget our IRC-channel #rwr at QuakeNet -- this webchat is the easiest way to join the chat!

Cheers!
