No one can ascertain the current Earth year (or if there is still Earth at all), so we start the count from Vostorg-7 year 0. This year marked the arrival of a joint Russian-Chinese colonization probe on Vostorg-7, a probe dispatched a very long time ago - in the early 21st century of Earth. After a long interstellar odyssey, it finally reached the unforgiving yet potentially habitable planet. The initial dreams of forging a unified spaceborne human nation were soon abandoned, as differing visions for utopian societies took root. Instead, seven independent human colonies emerged from the cosmic dust. While most of these colonies succumbed to rapid deterioration, with their inhabitants mutating into otherworldly beings or descending into feral lifestyles amidst Vostorg-7's unforgiving terrain, two colonies stood out as bastions of Man’s determination - the Derzhava and the Planet Cult.

Hello! I'm kinda flattered that even after development has been frozen for years, there is some (understandably slight) interest attached to the game I gave several years of my life. There's a slim (gotta be honest with you - very slim) chance of reboot by part of the former team and - secretly between us - some work is being silently conducted on the matter.

The main possible reasons why this might not see light is that we're darn adults now with our jobs and general adult responsibilities (plus military draft since I'm personally from Ukraine, hehe) and (much more importantly) the RTS genre is rather dead than alive. There are good reasons you hear nothing about Red Alert 4 or StarCraft 3 in the making. Although we're stanch fans of RTS and it was always more about the fun rather than money or feedback, making a full-fledged game for a very-very narrow audience requires a truly demigod level of commitment. And I cannot compromise quality in the name of making the task easier.

The attached screenshot are old and just for calling attention. If you ever hear from us again, the game will look completely different (hopefully in a better way). Anyway don't expect any news too soon. We'll be monitoring very closely the feasibility of making of a new indie Real-time strategy. Truly yours, RR team.

Stay safe dude! A new RTS would be rad though but so many recent indie RTSes seem to have failed over years, hope you learn from their mistakes.

The biggest problem that I've seen is... they don't design for a general audience, they keep chasing the RTS fanbase instead. Denying accessibility over making accessibility, so to speak.

all attempts at making RTS more mainstream failed. Look at Halo Wars 2, one of the most casual and mainstreams RTSes ever.

Currently Bardbed Wire's Call to Arms: Gates of Hell is amazing. COH3 is in the making, think of that one as you like.
