Rocket Core is an action platformer set in the future. It is inspired by old-school classics such as Jetpack!, Lode Runner, Jumpman, and Bubble Bobble, and modern classics like Super Meat Boy and Spelunky. Action takes place in a diverse world over the course of 100 levels.

You are on an epic quest to find the lost riches left scattered across a distant planet. However, those riches were intended to be left alone. Don your trusty jetpack, draw your pistol, and dodge endless traps of death strewn across this terrible place!

With 100 levels of traps, the only thing separating you from endless wealth and instant death is your jetpack. Built to withstand the harshest environments, your jetpack will propel you across a sea of spikes and towers of saw blades. But, it only has so much energy before it needs to recharge: timing and conservation is key to survival the further you go.

- 100 levels, progressively harder with new enemies, traps, & hazards introduced along the way

- Chiptune soundtrack

- Level editor - create and release your own levels and packs for others to play

- Unlockables that modify the game to give it a new playing experience

- Hilariously exaggerated deaths resulting from sawblades, spikes, lasers, fireballs, guns, aliens, monsters, lava, flamethrowers, and more!

We're a two man operation based out of the Seattle area. We love retro gaming and cool pixel art, and hope to bring that into what we create here.
