How it started:
At first the game was called Beardgame, started by two student programmers from the University Utrecht. It was meant as a small game, to be done within a few months.
Here you see some footage which they used showing it at the Dutch Game Garden in Utrecht.
What happened next?
While standing there showing what they had, they were aware that the graphics weren't all that hot to begin with and eventually started looking for graphic artists, which they actuall found right there.
Well this is actually where the project kinda went haywire and with the artist pushing the boundaries, the programmers also start pushing the boundaries and before we know it we got this.
And now we are even so much further in which there are even more weapons, new enemies, loads of new special effects and even a new ship to choose from. As can be seen in the latest uploads containing the complete Q&A here on IndieDB
Are we done?
Nowhere close... This summer we will be kicking some digital butt and we hope to leave only some small stuff so we can finish it this autumn. But expect even more weapons, enemies and ships to choose from.
