THE SHORT VERSION: This is like classic Resident Evil set in Victorian Ireland, following an æsthetic of German expressionism in silent films and telling a simple story in a complex way with attention to characterisation. This means a return to survival horror's roots, with limited supplies and limited ammunition, eerie rooms with individual personalities, atmosphere to make you forget the real world, and a mystery that won't let you go.
