Some of the features are locked away unless we create an account. Is this really necessary? I don't want to have to give up my personal info just to get achievements.
If you want, you can input fake data(valid email is up to you if you think you'll ever forget your password). Most achievements are score based so the account is required to check that the data is all legit, it was just the easiest way for us to do it. We wanted to make sure we didn't have tons of hacked high scores that plague many other score attack games.
I guess that reasoning makes some sense, but then why require an email and password at all? Why not save everyone the trouble and allow people to just select a username (like Guncraft does)? If the only reason is to protect the integrity of high scores, then an email and password is superfluous and unnecessary.
I see your point and admit that it's not the most ideal system but at this point with the framework already set up and hundreds of users registered there's not much we can do about it. Appreciate the feedback though and we'll keep it in mind for our future games :)
I bought this game from IndieGameStand. I've been trying to play, but when creating an online account within the game, it asks for a "Product Key". I tried putting in the Desura key from IndieGameStand, but it doesn't work. I don't see any other key anywhere. What key am I supposed to us?
Hey, sorry about that. We fixed the problem a few days ago, the key given to you should work now.
Looks really cool! Will there be a Windows demo?
We might make one again soon, we had an old one but it was pretty outdated so we took it down.
Great game guys! Its pretty hard, but I will continue to get better =)
Thank you :)
