Res Judicata, or RJ for short, is a 2D single-player comical role-playing game, set on a slightly alternate history Earth in the year 1315 AD, during The Great Famine. The story is split into two arcs, comprising ten episodes or “Chapters” in total, which will be sold individually. The primary themes of the game are the nature of passion (both constructive and destructive), famine, and a character study of the games primary characters. Mythologies and cultures around the globe are showcased in the setting and have a large effect on story. Players can expect a fun and engaging experience with side-splitting laughter, brutal combat, and a deep, lovable cast of characters. Female players may be relieved that one of the primary goals of the story is to develop a strong female lead, who can compete evenly with the male leads.
