Here is how to capture a Tiberium Spike with an Engineer. Simply stand inside the Tiberium Spike for 15 seconds and it will be captured by Engineer. Alternatively you can enter Tiberium Spikes with a Repairgun Spawn guy as well for 30 seconds.
