Red Alert: A Path Beyond brings the exciting storyline and epic clashes from the classic Westwood Studios game, Command & Conquer: Red Alert to realm of first person shooters, with a twist. We've remained loyal to the style and feel of the 1996 classic, while integrating content from its expansions Counterstrike and The Aftermath with a bit of updated history to add to the mix. Built off the W3D engine Westwood Studios built for classics such as Earth & Beyond and Command & Conquer: Renegade finished up in 2001, we help bring the fight to you as you play out your role as any one of a number of infantry classes participating in team-based combat that often involves land, sea, and air combined-arms clashes that just don't happen in any other game. Oh, and did we mention it's FREE?
Do not believe the lies of the Allied dogs when
they claim technological superiority. Our HINDs
are far greater than the pathetic Longbow, and our
technicians all carry far more sophisticated
technology that is the same size or even smaller
than the pathetic Allied equipment! Don't
believe me? Have a look, comrade.
It is a marvel of Soviet engineering.
Read the description for the allied version, you may understand then :p
The soviets claim it's their own technology... but is it?
it's in english...?
omg...the soviets developed...MOBILE PHONES.
Such an insidious threat they have become to society.
Nah just joking awesome model.
Actually, the allies developed them :p Soviets stole them and claimed them to be their own.
yes, but wouldn't it be in thier own writing so the techs could read it?
It does, on the only buttons they need to know.
people didnt even have colour tvs !
not even 16 colours
... thats all i gotta say
i mean, it looks nice.... but.. unrealistic
and computer speaking they had big thingys that ran on small holes in paper.. yes a piece of paper was the harddisk...
Yes, it is unrealistic, but however the entire Red alert storyline is unrealistic. The past was changed and in turn so was technology.
So, as far as your "color tv" arguement goes, for example, TVs shown in cutscenes in Red alert were indeed in color.
