Overview

This is the complete free dedicated server (FDS) package for Red Alert: A Path Beyond 1.3.1 (RA:APB). At the time of writing, this is the latest version of RA:APB and this package contains the latest Server-Side A Path Beyond 1.40 (SSAPB) code for running and managing a gameserver.

This is not for everyday players, download the RA:APB 1.3.0 CLIENT and RA:APB 1.3.1 PATCH instead if you just want to play. This is only for those looking to host a gameserver.

This 1.3.1 FDS / SSAPB 1.4.0 package is the latest and greatest "free dedicated server" software installation package for server owners, freshly prepared by Zunnie with contributions from several other staff and community members.

Intended for use by those who are serious about hosting a permanent or semi-permanent server, this ~530mb complete package will provide everything you need to start hosting a game server for other people to connect to for public or clan use, or upgrade an existing APB gameserver.

If you have downloaded the FDS in the past and have been frustrated at the process of setting it up and and stumbling through configuring/collecting all the other components, worry not. This contains everything you need; just add a server PC with an internet connection and you're basically ready to rock.

Features

This package contains the following features ready to go out-of-the box; you provide the hardware and after a very minor configuration your gameserver is up and running. Default values have been provided where possible, making setup a piece of cake. Configuration files have been fully annotated.

All the RA:APB 1.3.1 data files and maps are included, compatible with our latest 1.3.1 client.

A full IRC bot is included, based on BRenbot 1.53. Use this for easy remote game administration or public monitoring! Prepared by Catalyst of the Ascended Warriors clan.

Full TeamSpeak2 support included; players will be automatically sorted into correct TeamSpeak channels based on team. Originally by Reborn-the-guy for the Mp-Gaming official server.

Support for in-game fund player-donation or team-donation commands

Support for optional "unit veterancy" upgrades inspired by later C&C games

Support for alternate-gameplay modes such as snipers only or buy-your-base

Support for randomized bonus-or-punishment crates players can find on maps

Support for random map rotations

Support for refill & demolition truck abuse prevention

Fully documented; no need for guesswork

Note that this package is intended for hosting a gameserver for APB 1.3.1 clients to connect to only; it is not intended for use hosting earlier versions, and only APB 1.3.1 clients can play on your server with the installation as-is. With a little bit of effort you could reconfigure the server to host an earlier version, but this is not supported.

Dude as far as i no theirs only euro servers if u opened a NZ server or somthing that would b mint az srsly im sick of 400ping in the normal servers most of the time i get pwnd cuz only like 1/20shots seem to count ><! theirs also alot of aussies that play
