This week we've made big changes to the theme and juice of the game.

What’s New

The new things this iteration includes:

  1. Changed the bomb into a screen system that also includes the pause function
  2. Changed the winning screen to make it more clear that it is a winning screen
  3. Made the scientist ship cooler
  4. Made the scientist not Rick
  5. Added facial expression for the scientist
  6. Added animation for the entrance screen
  7. Improved on the animation
  8. Changed the music and laugh to the freelancer music and laugh

What’s the Motivation

The changes in this iteration are generally aimed that the things in last week’s feedback that are reported to lack juice. For example, the bomb system is a bit weird thematically for the lab, so we changed that to the screen system, which also includes a pause menu system. We also made different changes to the mad scientist such as a much more polished ship and a much better facial expression to make him appear more evil.

What’s Next

the planned changes next changes include:

  1. Implement more levels featuring more diverse mechanics.
  2. Fix the animation async bug that we were unable to fix
  3. Fix the scoreboard that we did not have enough time to fix
  4. Add even more juice
