Hi everybody, The game is called “Kafka, episode 1: Ravachol” and as the title said, it’s based on Franz Kafka’s life. The very famous European writer, known for his novels like The Trial. In this game, and this first episode, you’ll live the life of Franz Kafka from his birth to the primary school. The major part focuses on a normal day with a lot of struggles. The gameplay is a mix of a point and click (items, inventory) and a visual novel with a lot interactions and multiple choices. The core gameplay is the dialogues. Each dialogue is like a fight. You have to choose between several reactions like “to lie”, “to be honest”, “to be rude”, etc. But, be careful, each choice has consequences. You don’t have a life bar but a “mental health bar” or a “depressed bar”. Each interaction has a consequence on your happiness, or sadness, so think before clicking everywhere.

Presentation of a new character : the seller of trdelnik.

Hello everybody,

Today, I would like to talk about the evolution of another character. One of your first « enemy » : the seller. In Prague, you’ll see a lot of trdelnik sellers. What’s a trdelnik ? A small cake very tasty with a cinnamon flavor. Delicious ! The problem is, the seller seeing the young Kafka, so a child, wants to trick you by raising suddenly his prices. You’ll have to fight him…with words.
