Music by Michael Markie
Game being developed by Noah Dickinson
Quarantined: Viscerafest has been available in beta and alpha forms for about over a year and a half to two years now. The general goal being to gain as much feedback as possible and improve the game thusly. The game has undergone a fair amount of patching. From small bug fixes to exciting new features, the game has been very positively impacted by player feedback and I cannot thank those enough who have been playing the game, finding issues, and generally doing their best to help me improve the experience.
With that said!
The next patch coming later this month will see an exciting amount of implications for the game. Alongside a few changes, fixes, and welcome additions, the soundtrack for all of chapter 1 will be completed and present in the next update. Meaning you'll get to jam out to the bloody awesome work of my composer michael markie whilst playing the game!
Ok so big whoop the game has its actual music now, what does that really mean?
Well ignoring the in game implications of tone and atmosphere, the inclusion allows me to move
forward with the game in avenues I otherwise have been unable to up to this point. The usage of placeholder music has stagnated my ability to really jump out and share the games playable beta, as well as having prohibited me from attempting to get the game onto more public platforms such as steam or gog. Once the soundtrack for chapter 1 is done a new trailer following the games patch will be released. On top of this I will be making a push to get the game onto steam and potentially gog should they allow me.
In the long run what this ultimately means is that the game will be making one more giant stride towards
its release in 2019, something I am eagerly awaiting. Catchya guys next patch in a few weeks. Audios!
Wanna check out Markie's amazing work on the soundtrack so far? Gotcha covered!
