OK so I posted this before but Brody, the guy who runs this game hacked my IP once he found out I was telling the truth about his game, so as he could remove my post so no one would get to read it so here it is again.
THIS GAME IS A SCAM. DO NOT PLAY IT.
I was banned from the game after asking questions about this guys moderating staff in the game. I was investigating improper use of muting power, and at every turn the guy tries to silence me, even going as far as to tell me stop posting on the forums (the place he and his own moderators originally told me to post) and send a forum PM instead, which I did. He then ignored me once my concerns were well away from the public eye. I have photographic evidence of what I was muted for and clearly I broke no rules. Yet when I spoke out, instead of being listened to I was banned. The worst part is that he bans your IP so that you cannot even explain or communicate the situation at all.
I have donated lots of money to the game, and as my reward for trying to make the game a better place I was banned. The game is a MARKETING SCHEME TO MAKE MONEY. In the mean time I urge you all to STEER CLEAR OF THIS GAME. The developer makes and breaks his own rules as he goes and will ban you simply if he doesn’t like you. Since he is the only developer and runs the game himself there is no one to check him and it allows him to ban you for no reason and get away with it. Luckily I have found that this game infringes on Pokemon trademark copyright claims and it will only be a matter of time until the game is shut down completely. Do not play this game and especially do not donate to it.
Stay very clear away from this game. This isn't how a pokemon game is meant to be it will ruin the whole pokemon experience for you and besides you get banned for no reason just for speaking the truth please everyone stay away. Lets get this game taken down lets help people stay away from this game

I was going to give this rating a "1" because I was angry with the ban I received, but I'll be honest: The game has its moments. It's fun, mostly true to the pokemon games it emulates (metaphorically, not literally an emulator.) However, the staff are incredibly vain and negligent, turning an alright game into an absolute **** show. I was banned for "botting" after taking a few months off to care for my young son, and I came back to the site to see that I was no longer able to play thanks to the ban. I'd emailed their ban appeal email about a month ago now, then once more two weeks after. I've even sent them a tweet to try and get in touch with ANYONE. As of 6/24/19 I've still heard nothing from them, not even a peep. If you're looking for a great game with a great community and you love pokemon MMOs or just one or the other, I implore you to consider PokeMMO. It's far superior, despite requiring roms to play.

This game is good as long as the admins would stop muting and banning for really dumb things. I called a mod out and her name is Lorena in the game and she muted me for 9999 minutes right after I said I was going to Brody over her muting and blocking people she does not like.

I would rate 1 but I can't.
I used to play this game with my fiance. I spent months trying to find a legendary Pokemon and when I did, I started to hunt for another legendary and got lucky and found it just 2 days later and while trying to catch it, I was IP banned for botting. I don't even use bots. Just jealous people that didn't think I should get another legendary so soon. Even after trying to email them to appeal my account, I never got a reply back. The staff are tyrannical and abuse their power. They will also mute you for any reason with no justification and get away with it every single time because one of the rules is to not even talk about the rules. Even if you don't break the rules, you are still liable to get muted or banned. There is no accountability for their actions.
Bottom-line. Don't invest your time or money into this game. These are scammers. You'd have to either be a moderator or donate at least 4k to the game to avoid punishment because let's be honest, this is a money making club. If you're not on the inside, you will be treated like you are on the outside. They will take everything from you just because they can.
I really hate this game. I used to love it, almost addicted...but I really regret that now. I put all my time and effort into it and it ruined pokemon for me. You might think right now that I'm overreacting just like the other people who low-rated this game, but I'm really not. The only reason I'm even voting this as high as a 3 is because I'm new to IndieDB.

The mods and even Brody himself (The creator) are jerks. They don't care about anything you want to say, and you get muted and even banned for absolutely no reason.
This one time, for example, I was extremely upset with a mod and tried complaining about it to Brody.
Brody literally just banned me for a few days for "disrespecting a moderator"
If you are new to this game, quit it now...trust me. this game is terrible, and you will find so much better pokemon games in other places.
