Introducing Plataforma, the simple customizable platformer!
Jump over gaps, over spikes, collect the coins, and reach for the goal. Pretty straightforward. But it only gets harder from here. There are fifteen levels, divided in three sets, for you to beat and explore.
Plataforma gives you the opportunity to make it YOUR game. You can edit almost everything. Levels? Check. Character's skins? Double check. Language? re-check.
If you made a cool level or a character skin, email it to santiaboy2(at)gmail(dot)com, including "[Plataforma]" in the subject of the email so it doesn't get lost!
There are tutorials in .txt format included in the download to help you understand how to configure the game you want it to behave. Also, I made some videos (check the videos section!) showing how to edit the levels and character's skins.

Please add it so it says what levels you have cleared because i keep goin back to the same one cause i cant remember
Hey there, I'm working on the high score part of the game. If you beat the high score, you will know if you beat the level. However, do you need a more visual indicator?
Also, why didn't you finish some levels? Were they too hard? too boring?

This is a very nice and simple plataformer game which i would love to record and put up on my channel but there is a couple of problems:
1) character sprite disappears when recording with fraps.
2) using another recording software wont let me press esc or enter which is wierd.
Ofcourse these aint big problems but i would to show other people this game and spread the love.

Hey there, I'm glad you liked the game!
As regards to FRAPS, I don't currently use it. I use Action! However, I did record in the past, and I didn't have any issues. Can you tell me about your specs? Have you tried activating/de-activating Vsync?
about number 2), there's a bug in the current release of SFML, where you have to click on the screen border AGAIN to regain focus on the window. (Alt-tabbing should do the trick as well.)
Heya mate, just gave it a go and here is what I reckon:
The game is very simple, but that is not a bad thing. Although I've only played the first 5 levels so far, Maybe a few more spikes and traps?
The background has potential for more scenery. Even a simple cloud passing or the like?
Could do with an extra animation for when you jump instead of the same face. Maybe just have him look up or similar.
Music was a tad repetitive for my tastes, but really captured the old school feel.
There is no initiative to replay a stage once you are done. I would suggest at least keeping the old score there to compare?
Which brings me to what could be a game changer for you: This game is SCREAMING for a stopwatch timer. The speedrun fanatics would love it. Keep your time, try to beat it next round - THERE'S your replay value right there.
Overall solid performance, good yet simple little time waster. Now, Im off to see how I can do some customisation. Cheers!

Extra music is coming with the 1.1.0 update, as well as level highscores and total highscores. We are having a competition right now ( Indiedb.com ) to see who has the most points. It ends this Friday 13th.
Background and better animations are ideas I thought about, but I delayed them until I have something cool. The stopwatch timer was something that didn't cross my mind, and it's actually a really good idea, and it doesn't seem too hard to do it.
