So wait, does this bypass the need to code triggered events yourself? As in the mapper just has to drop the trigger into the map, place it, and then "connect the dots" if you will?

Isn't this what KISMET is used for in Unreal Engine? The workflow is amazing. I remember playing around with loads of triggered events in GoldSource could be quite the drag sometimes.

Yeah, that's exactly what Kismet is used for. It's one of the strongest tools for Level Designers and Artists in the Unreal Engine, so bringing that to Unity will make the engine that much better.
