Photon is a simple game where you move along a laser, making your path using mirrors to complete various goals.
planned features include:
-limited items "puzzle mode"
-detached from beam, unlimited items "free mode"
-explosives
-multiple beams & color filters
-moving blocks
-level editor
In case you hadn't noticed, Photon isn't getting anywhere. I stopped working on this version about a year ago due to feedback saying it would probably be better on mobile platforms and that the graphics needed improvement. I gave a go at remaking it with Unity, but I haven't gotten very far because of schoolwork. Now I have come to realize that puzzle making isn't my forte, at all. At best they end up being tedious obstacle courses. So I have decided to cease putting my time into it, and have put the original code up on GitHub under the MIT licence. I honestly wouldn't recommend trying to dig through it though. When I started I was experimenting with different code styles and it ended up a little weird...
Anyway, I may return to this concept in the future, but only only if I find some way to compensate for my lack of puzzle making ability. In the meantime I am directing my attention to other projects and my schoolwork.
