This mod adds new difficulty presets, mostly for challenge runs.
Installation:
Copy and replace file to C:\Users\*username*\AppData\LocalLow\Ice-Pick Lodge\Pathologic 2\Settings
Usage:
Go to settings, difficulty. Disable canonical difficulty and move preset slider around.
Presets:
- Metamorphosis: Just vanilla max difficulty (not Imago, maxed sliders) made into preset for convenience
- Bloodbath: Everyone kills everyone in one hit. 100000% damage dealt, 100000% damage received. Oh hi Mark!
- Pacifist: 0% damage dealt, 0% weapon durability damage. Don't even think about lockpicks
- Scalpelslinger: When Changeling said that plague is not a monster that you can slay, Haruspex didn't listen. He definitely should have. 0% Weapon durability damage, but 40% immunity recovery, 250% infection growth and 250% infection chance
- Crazy Menkhu: Why eating food when instead you can treat consequences of starvation? 0% Food value, 300% healing value
- Broken leg: Burakh is cool, but what if he was lame? I mean, literally lame. 10000% stamina drain during run
- Ironclad: Herb brides may have good health, but their dress is too fragile. You can't become a herb bride, but you can become the opposite of it. 200% hunger speed, 1000% hunger damage, 200% exhaustion speed, 1000% exhaustion damage, 200% thirst speed, 200% stamina drain during run, 200% infection growth, 50% food value, 0% cloth durability damage
- False PHD: Lying about marks in medical university before plague wasn't best idea. 0% healing value
- Unhealthy: Immunity is for weak. 0% immunity regeneration
- Metabolism: Fast as wounded looter running away. 500% hunger speed, 500% hunger damage, 500% food value
- Tired runner: Sport made Artemy strong (and also morbidly tired). 250% exhaustion speed, 1000% exhaustion damage, 20% thirst rate, 0% stamina drain during run
- Hungry bear: I fear no man, but this hunger bar scares me. 250% hunger speed, 1000% hunger damage, 80% food value, 80% clothes and weapons durability damage, 120% damage dealt, 80% damage received
- Game journalist: Fairly challenging difficulty for our beloved journalists. 20% hunger speed, 0% hunger damage, 20% exhaustion speed, 0% exhaustion damage, 500% immunity recovery, 0% thirst speed, 0% stamina drain, 20% infection growth, 1000% food value, 0% clothes and weapons durability damage, 1000% damage dealt, 1000% healing value, 0% damage received, 20% infection chance
- Catharsis: That's how Dybowski envisioned Pathologic 2 gameplay before his coworkers convinced him that it's a little bit too much (Source: I made it up). 250% hunger speed, 10000% hunger damage, 250% exhaustion speed, 10000% exhaustion damage, 30% immunity recovery, 250% thirst speed, 250% stamina drain, 250% infection growth, 30% food value, 250% clothes and weapons durability damage, 30% damage dealt, 30% healing value, 250% damage received, 250% infection chance
