Greenlit!
Painters Guild was greenlit on Steam in the last batch. We're now focusing on developing the game to make sure we release a quality game. But we also made an infographic with some information about what it takes to get greenlit. The image is very big, so I'll link it instead of embedding it:
Updates
Development has been going steadily and new features have been introduced to Painters Guild. You can now hire new procedurally generated artists to your guild, as seen below:

Women painters are included and procedurally generated as well.
The image above shows the hiring process of a female apprentice. Although there are 3 women to choose from in this instance, that would be very hard to happen in the game. Female have a lower spawn rate for historical reasons.
