Overgrowth takes place in the savage world of Lugaru where rabbits, wolves and other animals are forced to use paws, claws and medieval weaponry to engage each other in battle. Combining 3rd person adventure platforming with intricate melee combat, Overgrowth achieves a unique feel. Overgrowth also benefits from Wolfire's brand new Phoenix Engine which has been built from the ground up to allow the use of cutting edge graphics, animation, and physics. Add to these exciting features Overgrowth’s realistic artificial intelligence and streamlined control system and the result is an astoundingly immersive experience.

It isn't a mod, it's a full game, being released on Steam.

The amount of detail you guys are putting into the detail is pretty amazing, nice work :)

You can preorder it now to get access to weekly alphas ( Wolfire.com ). It's $29.95 and all money will go directly into making the game ( Blog.wolfire.com ), if you get it on Steam when available though, Valve will get 50% of what you pay, that's hardly ideal if you want to support the indie developers!

Steam is a lucrative business for Valve. It'll keep their pockets full for a long time, even if Desura indeed does overpower Steam, Valve will still make significant profit off of it.

I like to support both Wolfire (Lugaru <3) and Valve (TF2 <3), so I'll buy it on Steam.
