I'm sure hoods have hurt you badly to make you hate them - i suspect you put an hoody front to back and almost suffocated :P
I like everything that has hoods. It gives you this cool, mysterious feel.
Back on topic. I really like those concept arts. This manga/anime feel is what i like the most. I hope you guys keep this style ingame.
I hate those major devlopers tah try outrun each other to achive most realistic graphics.
I think they forget that priority should be to make games as entertaining as possible.
Whats the point of making a photorealistic game if its the same old junk only in new wapring. Games should be fun and to achieve this dont need to be realistic.
You want so see real life like graphics turn off your PC/console and go out for a walk.
I think the "hood levels" are great.
