Ooooooo fancy :3
EDIT: I really like the "upgrade their disc and increase their party size." idea, nice job :)

Yes. I like the idea too. Though I wonder, will the upgrades be overrides permanently increasing party size, or will the party size be customizable upon acquiring the upgrades?

I'm guessing it's just to add some sort of strategic element for the early game. You would probably be able to swap the beast's code for another beast's code or just an empty slot... I wonder what the upgrade tier will be like 1,2,3,4,5 or 1,3,5.

Makes me wonder what the maximum party size will be. I don't think Outlands will follow the pokemon-style 6 per party.

I would think 5... just looking at the concept art. And to be honest 5 is probably a good number. Anything above 6 would be to big and anything below 3 would be too small.

Description

So many of you might have been wondering about capturing. Here's a little preview of what we are planning. Beasts are stored in capture spheres (4 shown) and the tamer wields the disc that channels their energy into controlling the beast. The disc shown here is a relic and is the disc the player begins with. Throughout the game, the player will have opportunity to upgrade their disc and increase their party size.
