After 18 months of hard work, we are so proud to finally announce that Omensight will be coming out on the Playstation 4 and Steam on May 15! Building on what we’ve learned from our previous game, Stories: The Path of Destinies, we built an even bigger experience for players to enjoy.
In Stories, we were inspired by “choose your own adventure” books from our childhood and did our interpretation of that in an action RPG. The amount of possible story branches and making sure all the events would line up in a repeating day were huge challenges. This time, we took that experience in video game storytelling and added another layer of complexity on top: a murder mystery to solve.
To beat the game, as the Harbinger, you need solve the murder of Vera, guardian of Urralia and the only person keeping the dark god Voden away. You will be continuously transported back to the beginning of the day of Urralia is destroyed and tasked to find out everything that led to her death. You’ll need to listen to the clues provided by all involved in the conspiracy and make the right decisions when the time arises. Only by making the right choices can you progress in your investigation.
