Hello shark fans,
It's been a while, but Omegalodon has finally been Greenlit and releases on Steam in a few days. Everyone who purchased through Desura or redeemed a Desura key through a bundle will have immediate access when it releases. To redeem your Steam key do the following:
1. Go to your Collection page here: Indiedb.com
2. Click Keys next to Omegalodon
3. Click Get Steam Key
4. Launch Steam
5. Click Games in the toolbar at the top
6. Click Activate a Product on Steam
Follow the instructions, and you're done!
NOTE: The game will initially display in as 'unreleased' in your Steam library.
...For some reason, Omegalodon isn't showing up in my collection. Gah! I definitely own it!
I did some jiggering, and now it's showing up. Tried reactivating the desura key and then relaunching Desura.
yeah, same thing for me and I tried reactivating the game and so on, but was unsuccessful. It wont show up in my collection, ill check again tomorrow or something.
still nothing
I guess there must be a bug with opening the collection page on a web browser since I tried it with the main 3, firefox, chrome and IE.
For others who are having a problem locating their Omegalodon steam key, search for this game in the *Desura client* and click on this article to get the link to the collection page and it should be there. I don't know how to find the /collection page any other way lol.
I hope that not means that Omegalodon will work over Steamworks and become defunct?
There is no Mac version on steam? Steam store system requirements shows only Windows.
