Omegalodon is a third-person multiplayer action game where players compete by attacking/defending the city. The Red Team is comprised of police and soldiers armed with an array of military vehicles and explosive weaponry. The Green Team is comprised of Omegalodon, a 100-foot shark monster, and the Enviros, equipped with a healing beam. The game plays like a backward tower-defense game, but with free-roaming capability and fast-paced, realtime action. Omegalodon's objective is a nuclear containment dome at the city center. The round will end if it is destroyed, the timer reaches zero, or if Omegalodon dies. I'm looking forward to playing the demo of this game so much, but every time I try to play, the installation gets stuck on 'Validating existing files...' for a few minutes and then stops and gives the error: "There was an error during the validation process and it has been stopped. Couldn't connect to server Just wondering if there is a simple thing that im missing or that I can do so it installs fully and correctly, thanks |

Sorry for the delay. This sounds like an issue with Desura's servers. Right click and uninstall the game, then try again. |

Yeah I'm having a similar problem. Earlier today I was downloading the game, and then it just kept pausing the download near the end until the ETA was Unknown and wasn't going anywhere, so I was forced to cancel it. Now I have to start it again and it's coming up with the Validating error. |

I was stuck on "Validating Existing Files" to. But I just killed the Desura.exe in the Windows Task Manager, restarting Desura and it started downloading... |

Why are there no mods or FAQ teams responding to this, Im having this issue too, and If I cant get this DL to work I'm going to be terribly displeased having to spend 8 bucks on a broken shit game dl. |
