Hello everyone, sorry for not letting you know what was going on with the build release dates. Last week I decided that I was going to add a week onto the release date for each build after the previous one was released; successively. This means that since this build was a two week build, build 4 will be in development for three weeks.
This is to give me time to look for some more insidious bugs and also to allow me a larger window for getting things working as they are supposed and adding in some things that I find are needed as I do that work. I am planning a maximum of six builds for 0.5. This means by build 6 I want to have all of the current features working, maybe a few added extras such as new ships, missions, and some maybe a few new features.
Once build 6 has been released work will flow directly into version 6 which will take anywhere from a month to four months for development. The text-version of the game will be completed by version 0.9 as I want version 1 to be the first 3D build for the game.
After version 0.7 the major builds will be about flashing out what is already there with more content and adding in other features as I find them necessary. After this major version I may also stop producing builds as well in favor of straight major version to major version updating. I do not have a time frame for the period between version 0.9 and version 1; however it will be at least a year.

The goal for this version was to get ship battles up and going. To that end some other things were discovered and fixed or added as needed. To see what bugs were fixed and what was added see the respective sections below. There may still be some problems during battles, if you run into any please report them on the bug tracker. As for stations still not much has been tested there.
Due to the changes in this update, save files from previous versions of the game are not compatible with this version of the game.
Please uninstall any of the older versions of the game before installing this one. This installer will save the game into a non-protected directory so that the UAC, if it is enabled, does not lock file changes.
· A screen after battle has ended that shows what you current resources/kill confirms are and the new value based on what has been gained from your current battle
· Messages similar to the save messages added previously so that you can track loading progress
· New menu options during battle to check the status of your targets across all types of battle (ship, shield, defense, and planet)
· Increase to planet bombing damage through both tweaking of the formula that calculates it and an increase in damage values on the bombs themselves
