"nuo" is finally alive!

Our protagonist, the Space Traveler, can now walk around the map like an actual living being! Although this may not be the greatest achievement, it is a symbolic step for us.

After Qora (PC/Mac) was released on Steam in October of 2014, I and my new teammate, bad boy Dylan Colyer, have been brainstorming, drafting, and experimenting with this new project. We ran through all sorts of ideas and concepts, creating tons of artwork and blueprints for what would become "nuo".

After figuring out how to juggle school, a full-time job, a nomadic lifestyle, and shooting a movie, Dylan and I have finally struck a balance that has yielded the first footage of interactivity in the game:

The Space Traveler Lives! - Indie DB

This is, of course, only the beginning, but we've crossed one of the first boundaries in development and are excited to start this journey.

This is the first update of many to come, in which we will be showcasing the many tasks and activities throughout the game, the many items, plants and animals that inhabit the nuo universe, and samples of the hundreds of worlds that can be explored within nuo's randomly generated galaxy.
