Lately we’ve been hard at work laying down the foundations for online co-operative play in Northward. The pre-alpha build has been updated to allow for hosting and joining sessions, and you will now be able to found, manage and defend your village together with a friend! (Solo play is still possible)
We’ve also just implemented the first version of one of our planned village elders into the game for you to try out - the Shaman. Able to take the shape of various animals he uses his abilities to look after the village while providing various boons to creatures around him.
Above you see the Shaman along with an upcoming elder – the Witch. The elders will each have their own unique range of abilities and areas of application, changing the way you and your ally manage the village together. Remember to join us on the forums and share your ideas, let us know of found bugs or just to chat – We’d love to hear from you!
