Nor’easter is an episodic adventure game taking place in Northern America, somewhere in the mighty forests of the north. The game is deeply rooted in the lumberjack folklore, a setting that's as unknown to the general public as it's full of quaint, strange creatures known as fearsome critters. The story follows a jackalope (a hare with antelope antlers) named accordingly: Jack, as he sets out to help a lumberjack named Jacob in his search for his two lost children. Along the way they will meets tons of weird, magical creatures – a filla-ma-loo bird, a hidebehind, a treesqueak just to name a few – as well as the mysterious Elders of the Forest. However, somewhere in the shadows, lurks the most fearsome and dangerous critter of all: wendigo...
