Wow, um, indeed... I dont know what to say... why did the dev go with this fov? why would he have not already changed it? What would I have to do to increase the fov myself, all this and more boggles my mind as I watched the video. Maybe the dev is agoraphobic?
Its too bad, otherwise I would at least play the demo.
:/
I just cant bring myself to do it at this point, I cant support the making of a game in such a field of view... it kind of makes me feel bad too because im an amature dev myself.
/shrug I guess
Best wishes Nolcrix

Hello Nazaxprime, the video in question is actually cropped of the bandicam logo that I recorded the game with. If you search for Nolcrix on youtube or go on the my site the video will show the logo and the portion that was cut off from the desura video. On august 21st I made an update which address some of the problems with the title so far. I increased the screen rel estate a bit so it can fill for 16:9 ratio displays to reduce screen crunching and see a little further. Though keep in mind I can't apply this solution to certain elements to the game such as the boss battles since they were made with the original 640x480 resolution play area. In this case menus and boss area will be cropped a bit during full resolution for 16:9 ratios. Fov in MMF2 and other 2d oriented programs is dependant on resolution and elements given in the area. Thus it can't zoom out on a whim unless it was made in a 3d environment like unity or udk for a 2d game. Sorry for the wall of text but if you have any other questions feel free to ask.

Ahh, that doesn't sound so bad then.
Seriously, thanks for the notice/reply!
I'll be sure to give it a try now.
I understand the restrictions of programing environments and fully appreciate your work to address the concerns I(and other players) have voiced.
Best wishes and may Nolcrix not only be great stepping stone for you, but also may it reach the widest audience possible.
:D

dude, well done on making a game and getting it on desura! If I had one minor criticism, it would be the need for a ZOOM THE F>^K OUT button.
