The last two weeks I worked together with a friend to extend the armory with new weapons, ammunition types and other useful drone parts. She helped me designing the mechanics and painting all the new drone parts. I just had to implemented them and write some code ;) Here you can see a screenshot of the filled up Weapon Configurator. There are totally 18 different weapons and 8 different ammunation types you can combine, resulting into 144 different weapons and 13 other drone parts currently available to build into a drone. However there are much more parts planned.

User Guidance

I've streamlined the user-interface based on feedback in order to provide a better and more clear user guidance as you can see in the following screenshots. The game will now guide you step by step instead of just having everything accessible from the main menu.
In the same process I got rid of the research facility and the technology tree, it was just too complicated and felt a bit misplaced. There is now a GameOver screen where you can choose the technology you like to research as soon as you unlock a new level. Internally it still uses the same tree as before, so researching a specific technology will unlock new ones at the next level.

One thing you might notice is the new Drone selection screen. Its now possible to create and save up to 3 different drones, each drone is saved to a file and could be shared with someone else. if three is not enough I might add more slots.
The video I promised the last time is still not finished yet, I simply did not have the time to capture and edit it. I will post it next weekend on youtube!
