Description

Next in Line is 2D Horror Visual Novel, where 3 “ghost hunters” travel to an abandoned mental asylum after watching a viral video, planning on filming some ghostly happenings themselves there. Unfortunately, their first encounter with the supernatural might prove to be lethal, as there is more to the history of the west wing of the haunted building than they could ever have expected.

History

Next in Line is a 2D Visual Novel, that began development as a solo project for a university class.

It was started out of a willingness by the game developer to focus more on storytelling and 2D art. It was also a chance to do something horror themed, a genre that we feel is still unappreciated by many.

The main core gameplay is focused around the reading of the story, but the player can expect to be faced with several challenging puzzles throughout the game, all of which can change the course of the story.
