Hey-hey, Mushroom Crushers! It’s been a long break since the last update, but we’re finally back. This time, we have something interesting for those who love to be in control.
In this new update we’re introducing HUD Adjustment Menu. You can move around, adjust size and remove some interface elements altogether—whatever is more comfortable for you. You’ll notice some elements are disabled by default, but now you can try them out.
You can access the Adjust HUD menu by going to Options and then Graphics.
Among the minor news this week are several bug fixes related to enemy behaviour and equipment process issues. We’ve also added a couple of new Dictionary fixes and made some adjustments to Trinkets.
More in the world of crushing Shrooms: last week we showed MCE at Casual Connect in Berlin! Cheers to everyone for coming by and trying our game.

Haven't tried it yet, but the game looks great! I was also wondering how the controls worked, and reading the above comment, it makes me a little curious how the game plays. Hope you can get that bit sorted!
How'd you go about making those GIF animations of it, by the way? I can't seem to find a decent way to make those, and they are really good for showing how the game looks in action.
Hi martincrownover!
The controls in the game are using WASD keys and the arrow keys. You navigate the levels with the WASD keys and cast the spells with the arrow keys. A different spell can be equipped to each arrow. With a controller, you use the d-pad and the face buttons in a similar way.
The movement controls can feel a bit tricky on the isometric field, since the movement is tile-based, but once you get used to them, it shouldn’t be a problem. Though, if it causes more trouble, it's definitely something to look into!
As for the gifs, I'm using this handy little tool: Blog.bahraniapps.com . It records gifs straight off screen and is quite easy to use. It's not perfect, but for a free program it certainly does a good job!
Thanks for the tip - and good luck with your game! :)
The game is very nice to play, but the keys are very confusing. WASD does not match with Isometric view and it makes it hard to concentrate.
I like the pixel art and magics.
Hey Soley1x1,
The controls, indeed, can take a little getting used to. If you go to the Menu -> Options -> Controls, you can change the up direction. You can also try changing the key binds in Menu -> Options -> Key Binds. Hopefully, that can make things a bit easier!
