Mundus is a 2D space exploration game, with gameplay similar to "Terraria", the wonder of discovery from "The Legend of Zelda: Wind Waker", and it's own inventive art style/themes. The game begins with the player crash landing on a randomly generated planet, therefore destroying his spaceship. He is forced to gather all the ingredients to rebuild his crashed spaceship by foraging the resources of the planet and creating many buildings to work with these materials. Once the spaceship is rebuilt the player is allowed to venture into outer space to defeat bosses, expand his planet, visit other randomly generated planets and develop them, and eventually solve the mystery of why he had crashed in the first place.
