Hi guys,

Pierre - nice to meet you at indie co-working yesterday, I played through the demo again at home with a mouse and have noted a bit of feedback below.

Please take all this with a pinch of salt as I'm sure you've all had some ideas yourselves since you released the demo. Basically I think you have a great idea and obviously have the potential as a team to make a really great game!

First of all, things I love:

- the setting and tone of the game: fun, lovely environments with lots of character.
- the idea of never actually killing your enemies but "affecting" them to reach your goals. seems like a USP to me :)
- music is charming!

Now some more critical points (each of the above should weigh far more than any of these of course!):

- level select or a map?
- SFX + music mismatch, the 8-bit stuff breaks the world immersion for me.
- character and setting mismatch. the blocky characters are cool in themselves but I just don't feel they would "live" in these wind waker type lands!
- could do with intros to puzzle rooms? (camera zooms/pans to relevant goals or switches)?
- more planned camera movement / placement for certain sections? camera does not stick when I move it with r-mouse btn which was frustrating.
- faster acceleration on standing jump, tighter controls. I liked the forgiving platform collision but it feels a bit floaty at times
- that said there were some awkward collisions with the crates at times.
- double jump? or, maybe better, a ledge hanging type thing? I fell into lava too much and it would help getting up onto crates / ledges (this may just be me!)
- the walking blue enemies could do with a cool down when they hit you - i died so many time from three consecutive hits
- frame rate dropped noticeably in big / lava rooms (sorted by reducing video quality though)
- no sfx when shield guy hits, didn't realise I was losing health

Best of luck with Kickstarter!

Tom
