Morterra is a free online survival game set at the dawn of man. You awake with absolutely nothing and must find food, water, and protection from others. You will need tools to build a base to protect yourself, armors to defend against attacks, and weapons to fight back. You will eventually grow tired and need to sleep. However, while you sleep you are still vulnerable to attacks, so you must build adequate protection for yourself to survive the night.

The world contains no edges, no "safe-zones" (other than bases you build for yourself), and players can construct/destruct at their own will, but be conscious of whose stuff you destroy!

You do not need to download anything, just visit the website and it will load onto your browser!

Changes:
- Added a Christmas Holiday Event, will run every December
- Downing players
- Fixed gravity trick
- Fixed bear spawning
- Buffed blowpipes
- Buffed swords
- Buffed sand & clay drop rates
- Buffed stick deposit in foundries
- Added a timer to open/close doors
- Increased pot durability
- Nerfed crowns to not give all gem perks (must choose one at a time)
I've also been spending countless hours refactoring the Morterra engine. You won't notice any changes in gameplay, but this will make future updates much easier & often. We have some BIG changes in the works. Please report any new bugs you find to #🐛report-a-bug There will be plenty, I'm sure. We will be giving out the bug finder badge for any bugs we aren't aware of. (We know about arrow orientations & wood door/chest back faces)
Some updates to look forward to in the near future:
- More holiday events
- Signs
- Looting downed/sleeping players
- Vaults (a chest, but stores items to your account, across wipes :sweat_smile:)"
- 3D player movement
