Hey y'all!
First of all, I would like to thank you everyone that follows our game development. Today, I will be covering developing progress, plans and ideas.

Update

At first, my plan on "Mission Unknown" was to create FPS Singleplayer/Multiplayer and Co-Op game with maximum realism, where you can get killed just with one shot, or get really hurt if someone shoots you in some other non-fatal spot. I was also thinking of creating two multiplayer modes. First mode would include general FPS style games, such as TDM (Team Death Match), Deathmatch, Defend modes and so on. Second was to create an open world map, where anyone would be able to join and survive in post-war world; where it would be really hard to find a weapon or ammo to kill. Or, at the same time make post-apocalyptic world with some sort of the "Scavenger" hunts.

This two modes made me think that if I would create that, people would have different opinions on that. For example, people would wonder why would I create a game, with two modes that completely different? It would look like two games in one. Weird right?

So I'm asking your guys opinion on that.

What kind of game modes would you like to see?

1. General FPS style only.
2. General FPS style + Open World (or Savenger).
3. Open World only.

Moving on to the development progress. Currently I am the only one that works on the game; and I would say I'm just a beginner in Unity world. Working alone is quite hard, but since college is over until the January, I will spend more time into developing the game.

My current plans are to create a showcase, that I will be able to show people and really tell what's really going on inside of the "Mission Unknown", and then launch either Kickstarter or Indiegogo project.

Why do I need money, you might wonder?

Well, first of all, I really need to switch to Unity Pro (and I'm currently using free version of it). This will give me best experience and more awesome functions that I will be able to use in game. Unity Pro cost $1,500; which is quite a bit for a student like me, and if I will be able to have that money, you will be able to see way better game that with Unity Free.

Then, I will need to spend money on hiring people. I need custom weapons, world locations, textures and might as well hire another programmer that will help me with development.

I will not cover all my plans about kickstarter/indiegogo compain yet, but I will later. For now, please let me know what you think about those two modes I just recently discussed. I would really apprecite your feedback.

Thank you for your time!
Sincerely,
Ata.
