I need suggestions for an interview with Notch! I plan to add the most popular 5 to the list, and combine it with the minecraft community's 5 questions, along with two of my own for personal reasons (HEROBRINE).

what is notch planning the finished game to be like, his grand plan. exactly the same without the bugs, or enough added elements that to make this game gold?
and
how long is he going to spend with this game? just untill its beta is done, or is he going to take care of his $8 million baby for years to come?

Yes, he's screwing us over by creating possibly the most popular game in the history of the internet, charging half price for it for what has become an extended alpha, and not expecting any more than we have already paid for any future content.
He used to say he'd start the beta as soon as infdev was multiplayer, but if you've been to the website, clearly he's still considering it alpha stage, allowing more people to get in on it at half price. But it's not like he's gonna stop raking in the cash when he gets to beta, so even from the moneygrubbing standpoint you seem to pidgeonhole notch in, there's still a reason to finish the project as initially intended.
Seriously, you need to drop the tea party behavior, he's announced countless times on his blog(https://notch.tumblr.com/) that he's going to be supporting minecraft to the very end of its astounding popularity. You realize any project that has died at the beta is because they lack a community, right? Not because the dev just up and decided "I think I want to be an astronaught instead."
From what I've seen Notch makes good on his word, some things might not always be on time, but EVERY developer under the sun has had problems there.
It's not like he's spending all the money on a pointless war in the middle east or anything like that

Well there is one thing i know if he never put up that half price thing he would have never gotten off the ground. and would have failed before it started + made free multiplayer

Will he add thousands more things to minecraft like the ability to make things like working eletrical appliances and furniture or will it just be visuals?
Will he implement a LAN version of a SMP server or something similar in that regard?
Will he add game-types for MP I.E. maybe a zombie mode where one player starts as zombie and kills a player that player becomes zombie etc.?
Oh come on, you're going to waste at least one question on a dumb myth?
Ask him if he's planning on making clay more common or similar, because at the moment it's extrememly hard to get bricks!
Alright, here are mine.
1. Seeing as how boats are very limited right now, will you be adding a system where we can make fully working ships? (such as one block that floats that we can build around, and then another steering wheel block for control)
2. Will you add elevator blocks (a block that moves from one point to another)? These would be a useful and safer alternative to ladders, and could be used for other things too, such as traps and watergates.
3. Will you add a handheld torch/lantern? These would be very useful exploring the world at night and caves.
4. Any chance we could turn gold or silver into coins as to have a currency in multiplayer?
5. Will you add locks we can use on chests and doors that require a password for multiplayer?
6. Will you add furniture?
7. Will you add a dye system for cloth?
That's about all. I hope at least one of these features gets implemented eventually.

Here's some things notch should add:
1: Furniture+Sitting Action, this would look really nice for a machinima or something.
2: Locks on chest, Best for multiplayer if your inventory is full and you don't want people stealing your stuff.
3: HandHeld Torch, we don't want to waste torches just to go see something weird at night or in a cave.
4: Large Crafting Station (for making really big things, like in 5)
5: Gigantic Boats, like, can take 10 people and a chest or something.
6: Metal Walls, I constantly wish there were these in alpha when I make a building in multiplayer, stone makes it look so primitive.
7: Coal Powered Buttons, add the coal, hit the button, button stays activated until runs out of coal. Useful for timers and stuff, would really help in lava survivals, this way you won't need a long tunnel or a hack for the lava.
8: Lobby for Alpha, This way we don't have to surf youtube for hours on end trying to find an IP for a server, just to see it's an empty server.
9: Dyes on Cloth, this way we can make epic pixel art in single-player mode... Can't think of any other use though, would be neat to have.
10: Controllable Portals, in Single Player, we would like a safer way to go long distances without using the nether, but have this have a big price, like, 12 of Obsidian for each portal, and have some extra wire system meant for portals (like in 11), don't use red ore or else we can't set up epic defenses for our portals.

11: A Secondary wire system, This should work with the same things red ore does, only doesn't work with red ore itself, this way we can really compress our machines, just red ore keeps touching itself and breaking the circuit.
12: More Minerals, Everytime you add one, it starts a whole lot of discussions on what the properties of it are, like: Does it fall? How hard is it to break with a Diamond Pick/Shovel? What does it look like? What can you do with it? Some mineral ideas I have are Blue ore, similar to Red ore, read 11. Another is roots, the trees don't look realistic if you think about it, the thing goes up, no roots downwards. I think the roots should be used the same way as the trunk, only like 1 or 2 less planks from it.
13: MP3/IPods, basically a portable Record Player, this way if we want to hear a song from it, but want to mine at the same time, we don't need some music player running and slowing down our computer.
14: Importing Records, those two or three records can get pretty boring, you should add the ability to change what songs each play by importing a song, if you do this, add a function to get the originals back also.
15: More Records, as I said in 14, those two or three records can get pretty boring, but doing this will allow more imported songs.
16: More Food, this way we don't depend on ham for everything, have multiple food types, harder to get the food=higher HP gain, easier=lower HP gain, this way we don't waste our precious ham when were like 3 hearts under, or were hit to quickly and a single ham won't save us.

17: Konami Code, Using this code should make you keep half your items if you die within one minute, that would really help, and since the code is really long, it will take a while to type if were being attacked, so we can't type it when running from a creeper or skeleton.
18: Hearts, growing our HP Maximum would really help out, especially if your on hard mode or something, I recommend having the max hearts 20.
AND ANOTHER CONTINUATION.
19: Hunting Pets, Say, were surrounded by creepers, this hunting pet would make waste of them quickly, or at least make an escape path, I say it should be made by crafting a sword (Not bow, that would be too much of help) to a harness, or whatever the thing that attaches to pigs is called, but have the harness unable to sit on if the sword is attached.
20: Item Grabbers, if a loose item touches it, this thing catches it so it doesn't expire, but you can't place items into it like a chest. This would be helpful for mob farms so the player can go mine while were making bacon, or getting gunpowder.
21: Airborne Electricity, red ore should have some crafting thing so that you can connect it and have it hover in the sky, and this hovering red ore can go up to 20 blocks, but because it flies, you can't fix short circuits as easily. I say when you put it on the ground, it should automatically spring up 5-10 blocks. You should also make this special wire break if it touches any material on any direction.
22: Solid Red Ore block, craft around a 2x2/3x3 square of Red Ore, get a red cube and it's usable as normal red ore, only this goes straight only, like a + road, this way we don't need ore going under other ore.

- Stackable food.
- Minecarts booster block.
- Different colors for tree leaves (Autumn).
- Palm trees in desert areas near water (with coconuts)!
- Cactus when there's NO water.
- Pine trees.
- Apple trees (A way to make golden apples)!
- Bushes (can make hedges with, can grow berries).
- Trees that ca grow very big without your help.
- Quicksands!
- Elevators.
- No more tree tops floating when you cut it down.
- Leaves that fall with an animation when you cut down the tree.
- Saplings now created when leaves touch the ground.
- Pumpkins without a face!
- Fences that you can walk on without being stuck.
- A menu with all in-game recipes (right click on a bookshelf)?
- Artifacts (Something else than diamonds to search for).
- Dungeons that are not underground.
- Bigger floating islands. (With waterfalls for sure).
- Higher sky limit.
- 100 silver coins for a silver ingot.
- 100 gold coins for a gold ingot.
- Market chest (Don't need to be there to trade).
Ex: buy the "64 planks block" for 300 gold coins with a right click.
- Locked chests, you can carry the key or hide it.
- Make bottles from glass block (water, milk, apple juice, for +HP).
- Javelins (more damage than bow & arrows, less range).
- No more duplication bug in chests (Cheat).
Personally I think there should be more block types, slanted ones to make ramps and the such, taller blocks, wider blocks thinner blocks, hell maybe a circle or two. It would add many more options to the people. If someone already said that then cool, I'm too tired to read all of this at this time of the night. Oh and maybe have some form of electricity? Just a thought you could make like elevators or something, subways...maybe I'm going over board haha.

If I recall it was mentioned that they were Notch's first attempt at pigs. But as you can see, it went horribly wrong.
Will trading-desks be added as a craftable object??
thank you all for your suggestions! I could only pick 5, so I picked the ones that would likely get an answer, and have an actual good impact on gameplay. I wish I could add in elevators, but I have no room!
