Russian is small because they have to fit the ' above the letters.
That's actually because every font uses same resolution (16x16 per letter), and chinese glyphs won't fit in original (8x8) one.
Russian did fit in 8x8, and even supported letters like Ё.
What about Bulgarian?
I wander how much people will be required to translate Minecraft. There isn't much to translate, but the languages spoken by Minecraft players are quite a lot.
Actually a lot of names of the resources and items could be hard to figure by non-english people, so a translation is surely always better than nothing.
Nice to know that not all of us English speakers think that the world revolves around us! I must admit, it never crossed my mind that Minecraft was English only.
