Description
Within the first half hour of getting the update i had already constructed so many things with pistons, i thought "holy crap, these things are pretty cool!" So i uploaded this file. (it also contains some of my other piston related projects and a coliseum i built a while back.) Just copy this file (not the zip, the file in it) to your minecraft saves folder, the level name is flat-testing world. BTW you will also spawn with items and the like.

I would have probably also built alot of cool stuff.... but i made the failure of trying to push a block with two pistons at the same time.... My whole world full of contraptions is ruined -.-

I know why your elevator idea didnt work.. i had the same idea by the way. You have to make the redstone signal come from bottom to the top and you have to delay the signal 1 tick for each piston. But it is not possible to make it recoil properly so you have to rebuild every time you use it.
I wanted to make one that goes up 64 blocks, so I'm not going to rebuild that every time...
Self repairing creeper proof bridge, nice.
pretty nice, but, when i press the lever, it dosnt affect the redstones that leads to the place where it makes the cobble!
after reloading a map redstone goes haywire, you need to basically replace some of the redstone to make it work again :P
