Welcome to the world of Microverse; this game is being developed by me and its a smaller indie project with some ambitius features i call wishlist. This game is quite inspired by an older game called Re-Volt. The idea is to make an rc race game where levels can be big houses/rooms and or buildings or even exteriors, if you like this idea feel free to follow me i have a youtube chanel and a discord channel. You will have to avoid oil slicks and EMP traps, there will be different game modes plenty of cars to unlock, the game will feature low poly art style graphics from vehicles to towns, houses and buildings. However Micronyzed does not end here yes i called this Microverse because we plan to add another type of game in the same universe.

VS 2 Update

Hello everyone, today i will be talking posting changelog and bug reports as well as where this game will go in future:
So to begin i took a year (bit more than that) to learn well blender and lighting for ue4 and along with that i was also working my real life job (i still do) and kind of just let it sit for a while, after this time and vary recently i decided to redo the project in UE5 which was both fun and chalanging. Some maps i had to make from scratch (Old Garage and Pond Race) and look back to VS 1 it is a big difference. Since VS 2 is updated version of VS 1 there really is not much i can put in changelog. Going forward from this VS 3 demo will be worked on soon within next few days and should include some nice changes and shape it into actual prototype. Meaning alpha 0.1 now of course game will contain a lot more things but open world driving around "HUB" races currently is not possible it will take me time to fully learn UE5 and fundementals and who knows maybe even add some nice surprises to the game. Last thing i want to talk about before posting changelog is Multiplayer co-op i do intend to implement it but when that will hapen? Late beta or post launch as an update.

Changelog:

Recoded the whole project from scratch to add it to UE5

Created 3 race levels: Old Garage; Pond race (reworked) and Kyle's room

Created Obsticle models and implemented them into races

Implemented Main menu system

Implemented look behind camera (v) - there is a bug if you use it while on hood camera it will go into 3PS modeand you have to double tap Tab to go back into 1PS mode
Implemented Pause menu by pressing ESC or P

added graphic options to pause menu
added audio slider - once you lower the sound it works but when you go back into options the bar will be set to middle

added race abillity - Press 1 or NUM 1 to activate speed boost abillity
Modified UI

Created Activators for races ( in future can be replaced for emp trap models)

Bugs:

look behind camera (v) - there is a bug if you use it while on hood camera it will go into 3PS mode
and you have to double tap Tab to go back into 1PS mode

audio slider - once you lower the sound it works but when you go back into options
the bar will be set to middle
