Currently focusing on the settlement building system. Players can already found settlements by placing a Foundation Stone on the terrain but the rest of the modular sections need to be created still (residential plots, roads etc) which involves creating the required prefabs and scripts for each new item. After adding a few tho it becomes a fairly straight forward process, a lot of the time code for a particular item is just recycled and altered as needed. Saving time.

On projects in the past i used to not really commit anything to paper and instead i used to keep most of the game ideas in my head but I think it's time to sort this out. Plus if others are to work with me it helps if i have a blue print to show people. Up to this point i haven't been working with others so it wasn't so much of an issue before.

So i had a search and found a website called mind42 which is a site where you can create mind maps from within your web browser in a schematic format. You can collaborate with other users as well.

My mind map is here which i will try to keep updated as frequently as possible, it shows the intended features of the game, which i will be marking as and when they are implemented so you can get an idea of how near to completion the game is.

I'm now going to get on with some more of the settlement system as we want to get some videos up asap showing it in action.

Will update again soon!
