Help Jack survive his voyage of self-discovery!
Mayhem in Single Valley is the story of Jack, a local troublemaker who makes a series of earth-shattering discoveries on the day he is supposed to leave home for a new life in the city.
Single Valley is a microcosm of everyday life but with our fears and paranoia dialled up to eleven. Imagine a town where the craziest news stories happen regularly, where the odds of getting struck by lightning or attacked by misinformed townsfolk are never in your favour, and you are one step closer to envisioning life in Single Valley.
Mayhem in Single Valley moved to full production in 2018. We have built the full version from the ground up. Please follow our devlog for all the latest news and updates. Happy gaming - Brian : )

Cool game Brian!
I sooo loved the intro, my thoughts was wondering back to the C64 time, I so remember I went up in the morning put a game on load went to eat breakfast and come back to play the game xD
And sometime yepp it was loading loading loading forever and error... or on Atari ST bombs.. but Atari ST did not have a long load time.
So great intro best for me in this game. The rest was like a bonus :P Liked the rest to as far as I did get.
I did a let´s play for it, watch it here:
Thanks for checking out my game. I will be adding a more indepth tutorial section soon. In the meantime, here are a few tips: (1) You should speak with Jack's family - they will give you quests. (2) If you run through the lightning leader it will strike but miss - do this 3 times and it will go away. (3) Leave the yellow cursor over any item in the inventory to make it Jack's currently selected item (also visible in the bottom left corner). Some items are throwable - hold T to throw items. Hope this helps - I'll add more sign positing and slow down the headache counter in the next update too - thank for playing and I'm glad to see that you dug the intro. - b
Hey , yee saw the comment on my video to.
And now I have made a second part, it will be a 3:e part to, it ended in a kind of cliffhanger now this part. Make one more tomorrow...see if I can get pass those dame critters... :)
Really do like this game.
second part here:
Hi - thanks for playing again. Weird - the squirrels and the squirrel death screen don't seem to have render correctly for you - they shouldn't be invisible. What OS are you playing on? Ah PC - it was in you let's play title. Not sure why this happened to you - early demo issues : (
Update: Just downloaded from IndieDB and didn't have the "invisible" squirrel issue. I'll keep an eye out as to why it may have happened though - it didn't occur in other let's plays either - you might try downloading the demo again - your save should remain intact. - b
Yee, I did try downloading again, same though. So I think it is something whit my com. Something is wrong with my new computer, there is a problem with Visual C++ 2015. I can not seem to get it to install right. But it seems the game that use it, do not start for me at all, so I doubt that is the problem for me with your game, can be though. That is what pops up in my mind now about that.
I did a last let´s play to get to the end of the demo, was not much left xD but it was good for an episode, this squirrels xD Liked that part.
Wish you good luck with the rest fo the game! I hope I see a new version and if I remember I will for sure play next update of this game, I do follow this here now so I think I will notice it. I do not wanna promise, even though I like it, it might fall out of the mind u know.
Thanks for playing. If we bring MSV to full production there will be loads of improvements in gameplay, graphics, UI and controls - we will also release a beta demo some months before launch. Take care - b
Plays Great :). Played through it, check it out at Youtube.com
I finally had some time to try out the Demo today after downloading it a few weeks ago. Single Dad Problems lol...
Anyway this game is very decent. Love the superman type dream the kid is having at the beginning. Still trying to figure out how to do the few chores mom asked me to do but I wanted to stop by here and leave my comment before I get back to playing the demo. Looking forward to the release of this game!
edit: Just wanted to add that I hope you add gamepad support, I used XPadder to map keys to my xbox controller but there are many many people out there that lack the knowledge or ability to do that.
Thanks so much for playing and your feedback. You can map whatever gamepad, keyboard inputs etc you want - no XPadder needed. When you open the unity application/game you get an option for setting screen resolutions, in that window there is a tab labelled INPUT. Click this tab and all the controls for the game are listed, click a move, for example JUMP, then press the button on the controller you wish to used instead of the default input. Unity will save the inputs changes you make for the next time you play too. Let me know if you have any other comments - great to get your feedback especially at this early stage. Cheer - b
Game looks beautiful, thanks for sharing the demo.
Thank you for your kind words - working hard to get it to full production. More news coming soon - b
got the headline up on indiedb :D
I was delighted to see the feature post when I checked my account this morning! I threw up the demo soundtrack as a bonus for those that were interested in my game. I'm blown away by the support you've given it here. More than appreciated. - b
