In the distant future of 2005, the long standing Intergalactic Cooperation Treaty signed by Human and Alien representatives was violated when the Aliens became aware of Humanity’s sinister plan to advance rapidly using their technology, and then turn on them. They chose to strike before we had an opportunity to prepare, and after a brutal firefight, they decimated the Area-51 facility in Nevada. Ten diplomats of the Majestic Twelve council were captured and transported away by alien forces, leaving only a few crack commandos in the squad behind (big mistake). As one of only two surviving Majestic Twelve members, it’s your job to recover your comrades, and stop the aliens!

...Majestic 12... You could have chosen a better namesake than a borderline terrorist paramilitary orginaisation from Deus Ex, IMO.
Ah, actually, "Majestic-12" comes from the organization described in various documents unearthed in the 1980's as read here: En.wikipedia.org ; Deus Ex, just like our game, draws from the same mythology. Our game doesn't have anything to do with Deus Ex, nor is it inspired by it, Deus Ex and Mj12 are inspired by the same base mythology it seems.
