Just in case you missed out on playing the Easter Pre-Alpha, here is some gameplay footage that shows:
* harvesting souls in the village
* reanimating the dead
* commanding undead minions
* customising zombies with Flesh Crafting
* destructible environment
* three player weapon types
* several environment locations
In the spirit of Easter we put Bunny Ears on all characters, replaced all chests with oversized Easter Egg Baskets and enemy drops are large colourful Easter Eggs.
Very nice! Love the lighting and all the color particle effects. Why do those zombies have bunny ears?
We released the Easter Pre-Alpha build on the Easter Weekend so all the characters have bunny ears, all the chests are oversized easter egg baskets and enemies drop enormous easter eggs instead of pouches and satchels.
We even added the Easter Bunny as a boss in the arena that you could fight.
The Easter Bunny took a real beating and then exploded in a spectacular fashion upon death.
We had a lot of fun with this build :)
How did I miss that? Wait was that the release where Linux wasn't updated so I was waiting instead?
Yes that's why you have not played it. The Linux version is still pretty unstable, but it's worthwhile giving it a try on Windows or Mac.
There is something hilarious about an enemy that is determined to destroy you...and has ridiculous bunny ears :)

There should be another Linux build around July. I guess I should finally get around to creating a Reddit account :)
