Excerpts:
IT IS 2012 - THE YEAR THE WORLD ENDS.
A band of spiritual seekers is gathering in the Arizona desert. A terrible Star is returning to Earth, heralding an apocalyptic battle against the Enemy-- the ghosts of the past, the forces of society, the invisible powers that rule our lives. Learn to plant, harvest, hunt, gather, and fight for survival in the strange new world to come.
Don't ask yourself, "is this real?" Don't try to rationalize it. Haven't you been waiting, hoping, hurting for a better world? A world where your actions are charged with meaning and power? A world where you're really free?
Why not just believe?
A new build of the Lonely Star demo is available too! No new content this time, it's just fixing a handful of bugs and animation glitches the last one didn't catch. Thanks for your support!
As I continue to develop Lonely Star I'll be building certain new features into the demo. The 1.07 version introduces one major change - adaptive difficulty...
I'd never thought of a 2D, top-view game needing a cover system, but as I've expanded on the game's stealth and vision mechanics, a cover-system-shaped...
The Windows demo of Lonely Star is out now; hurry, before the world ends.
Latest version of the Lonely Star demo. Compared to 1.085 there are edits for content and clarity; the gameplay is not affected.

Still deeply in love with this world and what you've done with it.
It's been a long time, but I'm dead serious when I say this game continues to inspire me.
Even if this demo is all that's been shared, I'm still thankful that it exists. There is nothing else quite like Lonely Star out there. Cheers.
Looking good so far but it's freaking hard! The random LSD cloud encounters happen way too often for me. At one point they happened 5+ times in a row on the same spot and i just wanted to grow some corn. :c
Since they also got progressively harder, i got my *** whopped after the third one, every time.
I like where this is going though. Perhaps one day, there will be an easy mode for noobs like me.
Alright so I came back to this way later and I take it back.
There shouldn't be an easy mode. You just have to play more and you'll start improving at the combat. That's what happened to me as well. I used to suck at it but eventually improved by either using different strategies or simply getting better at applying the strategies I was already using.
Overall, I hope this game actually gets finished at some point. The demo is incredible and NEEDS more exposure. There's so much value here, it's a shame there's so little attention.
I dont think this will ever be done. His twitter is abandoned, last update here was in 2016, kickstarter failed and his own website hasnt been updated in forever. This game is probably dead.
Yeah... It's probably dead.
I still remember it once in a blue moon and think about what could have been but it's pretty clearly not getting finished.
Really wish it could get a 2nd chance because it's such a uniquely fun game with a variety of well executed survival mechanics and a very interesting setting and story...
but the safe bet here is that it's over and we should move on.
My bad. I wasn't logged in. But yeah, I'm the same guy.
I'm really excited to pay for this. I can't wait for it to be done.
