STORY:

You cannot use the spin attack while walking. The game has also touch screen controls.

Thank you very much for the video I liked it :). But it looked like you had some trouble with the controls. If keep the ctrl key pressed the cat will keep performing the spin attack making the game a lot easier. Also about the bats you have simply to avoid them, you cannot kill them.
