We have added the first gameplay video for the woodcutting system. As promised we will post the farming and mining system soon too.
We are aiming for a different system for these activities. Something that will require interaction from the player.
As you can see, in the demo video, the player will have to follow a set of buttons in order for the woodcutting to start. If you hit the wrong key, you will have to start over.
But there is a catch, the faster you react and press the correct keys, the more resources you will get. This will apply for mining too. With the farming system, it is a bit more complex, because it will be composed of several mini-games.
We thought that making a mini-game for woodcutting, mining and farming, is something different than what is already on the market.
We hope you enjoy it and please leave your feedback here. There might be some minor tweaks to the system, but we would like to hear your opinion and ideas.
