I'd like to first and foremost apologize for my lack of updates over the past two months on the development of Legacy and briefly explain what's been going on in our lives as the developers. Both Javier and I, who are the main developers on this title, work full time jobs, working on this in our free time, I've recently had to do this as we weren't able to find any serious investor for Legacy and going without paycheck, let alone steady income, just wasn't a viable way of living happily for me. This being said, Legacy was not dropped, as it really is my personal project of passion and I fully intend to see it developed to the end.
Just recently I received an email from Valve informing me that Legacy had been greenlit! This combined with the release of Unity 5 beta is just the boost we needed to get back on track and seriously invest more time into getting the project one step closer to release. I will be fully transparent in explaining why we aren't releasing early access right now, what our goals are for this, and what are plans are financially, I think our fans deserve to know and I'm not particularly fond of developing behind closed doors...
To start, I really don't feel early alpha access it is the most honorable thing to do considering the state of development right now. Do we need money? Absolutely. Will I accept money for Legacy's current State? Absolutely not. Will we do an alpha early access? Yes.
There are many things that need to be reworked and implemented before I feel comfortable selling early access. We plan on working on getting Legacy ready over the next several months for early access in our free time and then hopefully be able to commit more time, or even full time, with the money received from early access.
I wanted to thank everyone for their ongoing support, especially the groupees.com community for their support in buying the be mine 14 bundle, we will keep everyone updated and be sure to send you your keys when early access is ready.
Sincerely,
Jordan Gabrielle
