A Post-Apocalyptic RTS with religious themes has potential ... if it hadn't been helmed by fanatical evangelicals who were trying to make this game "child friendly" (come on guys, where's the hell and brimstone!). At best, this game is a joke: the sexism and racism (as well as moon landing and evolution denial) is quite hilarious!
For those of you not in the know: MyAbandonware.com includes the first 3 Left Behind games for free download (yes, there were more then just this one). Again, great for a laugh. There was apparently a fourth, but I can't seem to even find it uploaded anywhere.
There was a Multiplayer Mode that let you play as Satan's Forces, with Rappers that Swear at people to lower their Spirit and eventually convert over to the Devil's side. I would say it's hilarious as it sounds, but this game is really buggy and a real slog: your units jog slowly across the same New York City blocks over and over again ... no change in location or scenery whatsoever (apparently the Apocalypse is limited only to 1 city, who knew?). I remember seeing a screenshot where you could summon a demon, which is badass, but I doubt it's worth slogging through to get to that point.
I own thus game and I hate it, on like the third or fourth level it's impossible to beat! It would be a great game if it weren't so darn hard! Besides I love the military concepts out of the game.

I never played Left Behind Eternal Forces either because I'm not a huge strategy fan. If it were an RPG, I would be all over it!
I like the message and the theme of Revelations can be pretty intense...
Has anyone played it?
